Person-centred therapy for adults and couples in Sheffield and online.
Whatever's brought you here, it's not a sign of failure, it's a sign you're paying attention. Therapy isn't about being fixed, it's about being understood, at whatever pace feels right for you.
I trained because I know what it's like to feel stuck and unheard. My approach is warm, direct, and rooted in the belief that you already hold the answers, you just need the right space to find them. I work with individuals and couples across Sheffield and online, at whatever pace feels right for you.
Anxiety and stress, relationship and couples work, life transitions, grief and loss, and building self-worth.
Person-centred and integrative, drawing on what actually helps you rather than a fixed method. Sessions are collaborative, unhurried, and led by what you bring.
Whoever you are and whatever you bring, you'll be met without judgment. That's not a tagline, it's the starting point of every session.
Change happens at its own pace. I won't rush you toward answers before you're ready to find them.
The relationship between us is the work. I show up as a real person, not a blank slate.
I help individuals de-clutter the emotional and physical accumulations of life to feel lighter, more connected, and more engaged.
I curate themed sessions for both the public and mental health professionals. I'm also available for custom sessions by request.
I have taught extensively at the intersection of therapy and everyday life, and am always excited to speak to these themes.
Not sure where to begin? Have questions about your history? Curious whether therapy is right for you? Let's talk.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, so here's exactly what happens from first enquiry to ongoing sessions, no surprises along the way.
A free, no-obligation 15-minute call to talk through what's brought you here, answer any questions, and see whether we're a good fit to work together.
Before your first full session, you'll complete a short intake form covering your background and what you'd like to get out of therapy, so our time together starts from a place of understanding.
We'll go deeper into what you've shared, begin building the relationship that the work depends on, and agree together on a pace and approach that feels right for you.
Regular weekly or fortnightly sessions, reviewed as we go. There's no fixed programme, we keep going for as long as it's useful, and stop when you feel ready.
I'm registered with UKCP, HCPC, and NCPS, and I work within their codes of ethics and practice. That means clear boundaries, confidentiality with the legal exceptions I'll always explain upfront, and regular clinical supervision, so the standard of care you receive stays high.
What you share with me stays between us. Session notes are kept securely, never shared without your written consent except where the law requires it, and you're free to ask what's recorded and why at any time.
